New Scholarships WILL Help make Animation your Future
The Hollywood Animation Academy in Kansas City, Missouri, is pleased to announce three new scholarship programs to help passionate, dedicated creatives pursue their dreams with industry-level training. These scholarships are now available for prospective students for the 2026-27 school year:
An Early Commitment Scholarship of $2,000
An Artistic Merit Scholarship of $3,000
An Academic Merit Scholarship of $2,000
Students who qualify for more than one of these scholarships may combine those that they are awarded.
The early commitment scholarship
This scholarship rewards students who are ready to lock in their future at HAA early by committing to our two year Animation Certificate program by April 20th, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria:
Full tuition payment for year one received by April 20th to secure a guaranteed seat for the upcoming term.
Award amount: $2,000, applied directly to tuition.
This scholarship is applied directly toward the $36,000 annual tuition (one year).
Students may receive both Merit Scholarships ($3,000 and $2,000) and an Early Commitment Scholarship ($2,000) if they qualify.
artistic merit scholarship
$3,000 | Eligibility Criteria:
Portfolio Review: Portfolio demonstrating creativity, passion, and potential for growth in animation, storytelling, design, filmmaking, or related artistic disciplines
Minimum 2.5 GPA (high school or previous college)
This scholarship is applied directly toward the $36,000 annual tuition (one year)
Students may receive both Merit Scholarships ($3,000 and $2,000) and an Early Commitment Scholarship ($2,000) if they qualify.
Academic Merit Scholarship
$2,000 | Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 3.5 GPA (high school or previous college)
Portfolio satisfying the enrollment requirements showing an understanding of drawing and design principles as outlined in our admissions materials
This scholarship is applied directly toward the $36,000 annual tuition (one year).
Students may receive both Merit Scholarships ($3,000 and $2,000) and an Early Commitment Scholarship ($2,000) if they qualify.
